Carpet cleaning Swan Hill and surrounds locals actually notice

Carpet cleaning in Swan Hill and surrounds is mostly about two things: the red Mallee dust that walks in every day, and the traffic lanes that build up in hallways and lounge rooms. Ultraclean uses hot-water extraction (steam cleaning) to flush soil out of the fibre and pull it back into the machine, rather than pushing it around with a shampoo that leaves a sticky residue. Carpets come up brighter, feel softer underfoot, and stay cleaner for longer.

We service every kind of carpet job across the Murray — a single lounge room in Swan Hill, a whole four-bedroom home in Kerang, a rental between tenants in Cohuna, or the carpet tiles in a Barham office after hours.

What is included

  • Pre-vacuum and inspection of every room, with problem spots pointed out before we start
  • Pre-spray to break down oils, food, pet and general soiling
  • CRB (counter-rotating brush) agitation to work the pre-spray deep into the fibres and lift stubborn, ground-in dirt
  • Hot-water extraction with a professional wand, edges and corners included
  • Spot and stain treatment for the marks that need extra attention
  • Deodorising and optional fibre protector
  • Grooming and fast-dry airflow so carpets are walkable in hours

Why we agitate with a counter-rotating brush

Once the pre-spray goes down, Ultraclean runs a CRB (counter-rotating brush) machine over the carpet. Its two brushes spin in opposite directions, working the pre-spray deeper into the fibres so it can break down the soiling right at the base of the pile, not just on the tips. The same action lifts stubborn dirt and grit that has been trodden deep into the carpet and loosens matted traffic lanes, so the hot-water extraction that follows can rinse it all out. Skipping agitation is the most common reason a cheap carpet clean looks fine on the day and grey again a few weeks later.

How long do carpets take to dry?

Most carpets in the Swan Hill area are dry to walk on within 4 to 8 hours. In summer it is often quicker; on a cold frosty morning we can leave air movers running (they are optional) and suggest a heater or open windows. Keep foot traffic light and leave furniture on the foam blocks or foil tabs we place until everything is fully dry.

Carpet cleaning for rentals and end of lease

Property managers in Swan Hill and surrounds usually ask for a professional carpet clean receipt at the end of a tenancy. We provide one on every job, and we can combine the carpet clean with a full bond clean so you only book once.

Questions

Carpet Cleaning FAQ

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Swan Hill and surrounds?
Guide pricing is $55–60 per standard-sized bedroom, upwards for really dirty carpet, pet smells or stains. Send us the rooms and rough sizes through the quote form and we will come back with a fixed price — no surprises on the day.
Do you clean carpets in Cohuna and Barham as well?
Yes. Swan Hill and the surrounding towns, including Cohuna, Barham and Kerang, are all inside our service area. Where travel applies to the further towns it is shown in your quote up front.
What is a CRB and why does it matter?
A CRB is a counter-rotating brush machine. After the pre-spray goes down, its brushes agitate the solution deep into the fibres and lift dirt that is stuck down at the base of the carpet, so the extraction rinse removes far more soil than spraying and extracting alone.
Can you get pet urine out of carpet?
Usually, yes. We treat the affected area with an enzyme product and extract it thoroughly. Old or repeated accidents can leave permanent staining, and we will tell you honestly before we start.
Should I move furniture before you arrive?
Move the small and breakable things if you can. We will shift lounges and light furniture and clean underneath, then put everything back on protective tabs.
